Postgraduate education in Southwest University began in 1950s. 198 1 year, the school was approved by the State Council as the first batch of master's and doctor's awarding units, and trained the first doctor of curriculum and teaching theory in China. Since the establishment of Southwest University, postgraduate education has developed rapidly in all aspects, such as discipline construction, tutor team and personnel training, and a graduate school was established on 20 1 1.
At present, the school has three national key disciplines (basic psychology, special economic animal breeding, curriculum and teaching theory), two national key disciplines (ecology, fruit tree science), 39 provincial (municipal) key disciplines, 19 postdoctoral research stations, 28 first-class discipline doctoral degree authorization points, and 5 1 first-class discipline master degree authorization points.
It has 1 national key laboratory, 1 national key laboratory cultivation base, 1 national engineering technology research center, 7 key laboratories of the Ministry of Education or the Ministry of Agriculture, 2 national field science observation and experimental stations, 3 engineering research centers of the Ministry of Education, 2 national innovation and intelligence introduction bases, 3 innovation teams of the Ministry of Education, and 1 key research of humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education.
