Keywords traditional culture; Higher vocational colleges; Humanistic quality
With the enrichment of social material life, modern people have fallen into the quagmire of commodity worship, their character and personality have gradually lost, and their spiritual realm has gradually decreased. Strengthening humanistic quality education has become a hot topic in the current education field. Aiming at the weak links in education reform and ideological and political education, fully excavating the connotation of China traditional culture can provide a new perspective for the cultivation of humanistic quality.
The Outline of the National Medium-and Long-Term Education Reform and Development Plan further emphasizes the importance of strengthening the education of Chinese excellent cultural traditions to strengthen students' cultural quality education. Mr. Yang Shuzi, an academician and educator of China Academy of Sciences, once said: "Without advanced science and technology, it will collapse as soon as it hits; Without humanistic spirit and national tradition, a country and a nation will not beat themselves out of the water. "
First, the connotation of humanistic quality
Humanism, derived from Latin, namely Humanita, refers to humanity and education. In China, the word "human" was first seen in the Book of Changes and the Book of Changes, which said: "Combining rigidity with softness, astronomy is also above civilization, and people also observe astronomy, observe time changes, and observe people, and turn it into the world." Clearly put forward the concept of "humanity", "astronomy" refers to the principle of nature, and "humanity" refers to the principle of personnel, that is, human education. This paper discusses the connotation of humanistic quality from different angles and levels. Humanistic quality is a social and cultural comprehensive ability based on culture and taking people as the main body, which is internal and essential. Humanistic quality is a comprehensive expression of a person's external mental outlook and internal spiritual temperament, and also a comprehensive expression of the degree of civilization of modern people. Therefore, humanistic quality education has practical and strategic significance in the contemporary era.
Second, the necessity of strengthening humanistic quality education in higher vocational colleges
(A) the ideological education is not profound
In the market economy environment, the value system, ideals and beliefs of college students are challenged and impacted as never before. Higher vocational students are more emotional, less in depth, simple in thinking, less in cultural background, lacking the foundation of being a man and learning, and even less able to resist all kinds of wrong ideas and cultures. In addition, students in higher vocational colleges do not pay attention to personal appearance, have no communication skills and behave casually.
(B) the lack of multi-value mining
In the cultivation of higher vocational students, too much attention is paid to the study and mastery of technology, while the cultivation of students' humanistic spirit is neglected, which leads to the weakness of students' humanistic spirit. Therefore, we must be soberly aware that in the process of college education, college students are building a humanistic spirit of kindness, saving the world, respecting careers, enjoying themselves and pursuing self-improvement, which will lay a good spiritual and cultural foundation for their future social development and social responsibility.
(C) in terms of ideological education
Emphasis on professional knowledge and technology, ignoring the study of humanistic knowledge, paying too much attention to the teaching of knowledge, technology and skills, ignoring the cultivation of students' humanistic spirit such as life attitude, emotion, ideology and morality and values. The scope of specialty setting is relatively narrow, and the cultivation of students' comprehensive ability and quality is neglected, which leads to the single foundation of students' knowledge structure and is difficult to meet the needs of compound, comprehensive and innovative talents needed by society. It is difficult to arouse students' initiative and enthusiasm in learning by paying too much attention to social values and ignoring personal values.
(D) the requirements of teaching reform and development
The Action Plan for Revitalizing Education Facing 2 1 Century, which was formulated by the Ministry of Education and approved by the State Council, points out that implementing quality education is the overall goal of China's education system reform facing 2 1 century.
In the Opinions on Strengthening College Students' Cultural Quality Education, the Ministry of Education clarified the significance, orientation and connotation of strengthening cultural quality education, and pointed out that the current work of strengthening cultural quality education should focus on humanistic quality education to improve all students' cultural taste, aesthetic taste, humanistic quality and scientific quality.
Therefore, the focus of our current cultural quality education is to strengthen humanistic quality education. Its core is always how to be a man, including the pursuit of the value and significance of life, and the exploration of the harmonious relationship between man and nature, man and society, and man and man.
Third, give full play to the function of traditional culture and promote the cultivation of humanistic quality of higher vocational students.
(A) the combination of in-class and out-of-class to enrich the curriculum education system
To implement quality education in higher vocational colleges, it is necessary to broaden basic courses, refine specialized courses and expand the scope of elective courses through general education. Through the updating of teaching content and the adjustment of curriculum system, the integration of courses can be realized, and the humanistic quality of higher vocational students can be improved by using local traditional culture.
Traditional culture not only exists widely in social life, but also historical and cultural sites are carriers of traditional culture, vividly recording the evolution track of Chinese civilization. Students learn the profoundness of traditional culture through class activities, community activities, visiting cultural monuments and paying attention to intangible cultural heritage. Give full play to the educational function of local culture and constantly improve humanistic quality through observation and study.
(B) improve the quality of teachers, play an example and exemplary role.
University teachers are dedicated, dedicated and noble, and their cultural literacy affects students' behavior to a certain extent, which has a far-reaching impact on their future life development and growth. Therefore, improving the humanistic quality of teachers in higher vocational colleges is a necessary prerequisite for infiltrating humanistic education into professional teaching, and is the fundamental basis for improving the humanistic quality of college students and improving the cultural taste of the whole school.
(3) Strict examination and extensive reading of traditional classics.
The reasons why students' humanistic quality is weak in higher vocational colleges lie in less reading, poor study habits and less extracurricular reading time. The main types of books read are romance novels, which are rarely involved in traditional classic works. Higher vocational colleges can advocate classic reading and spread the essence of culture through strict examination requirements, and can also improve students' humanistic quality by discussing hot issues.
(4) Strengthen the construction of campus culture and create a strong campus humanistic atmosphere.
Strengthen the construction of campus culture, so that students can love the motherland culture from the heart and establish self-esteem and self-confidence in China traditional culture in a positive, civilized and humanistic campus cultural life. By organizing calligraphy, debate, speech, singing, drama and other forms, arouse students' interest in humanities; By holding a series of lectures on humanities and social sciences, we will create an academic atmosphere and strengthen the construction of cultural environment.
(5) Strengthen the shaping of students' etiquette through traditional culture.
Etiquette is an act of daily life, an attitude towards others and a reflection of quality cultivation. Through learning, students can understand the etiquette of different occasions, learn the etiquette norms of daily life, such as food, clothing, housing and transportation, and treat people with things, and show high humanistic literacy in words and deeds, so as to achieve the perfect combination of internal cultural literacy and external etiquette.
China's traditional culture contains rich humanistic education resources. Guided by China's traditional culture, we should cultivate civilized, polite and law-abiding citizens, shape students' civilized manners and habits, cultivate interpersonal skills and aesthetic taste, cultivate individual comprehensive ability in subtle and continuous strengthening, realize the perfect unity of social value and individual value, and further enhance the humanistic quality and spirit of higher vocational students.
