● In good health, in line with the Physical Examination Standard for Recruited Students in China People's Liberation Army Colleges and Universities, in which: the height of boys is above 165cm, the height of girls is above 162cm, the naked eye vision is above 4.6, and there is no infectious disease.
Second, the application and admission methods
● Fill in the volunteer: Candidates should fill in the name and code of "National Defense Student of China Geo University (Wuhan)" and related majors in the volunteer column in advance according to the relevant regulations of the place of origin.
● Political examination, interview and physical examination: Candidates applying for "National Defense Students of China Geo University (Wuhan)" must attend the political examination, interview and physical examination organized by the students' origin. Those who do not participate or fail will not be admitted.
● Admission: remote online early admission in batches is implemented. Under the same conditions, three excellent students, outstanding student cadres, party member and special students are preferred.
● Review and recheck: After the freshmen enter the school, they will be rechecked and rechecked by the colleges and universities and the office for the selection and training of reserve officers stationed in the school. The main contents are ideological and political performance, college entrance examination results, physical condition and so on. Those who pass the exam will be qualified as national defense students and enjoy national defense scholarships. Unqualified students, according to the relevant provisions of ordinary universities and military academies. Among them, those who reach the minimum admission score of the school where the students are located will be transferred to ordinary undergraduates by colleges and universities according to regulations; Those who fail to reach the minimum admission score of their school will be disqualified.
Three. Treatment and obligation
National defense students at school enjoy the same treatment as undergraduates of China Geo University, enjoy national defense scholarships (about 5,000 yuan per person per year), and enjoy other non-compulsory scholarships of the school. National defense students accepted the dual management of Guangzhou Military Region and China Geo University (Wuhan) during their school days, participated in the military and political training organized by the army, and those who reached the training goal after graduation went through the enlistment procedures and were appointed as military cadres.
Fourth, employment and further study.
When graduating from undergraduate courses, they will be dispatched by the army in a unified manner. Its appointment and award of graduates with relevant training levels in military academies enjoy the same treatment. In the year of graduation, national defense students can apply for a master's degree with the approval of the army.
