(1) The admission score line of the college entrance examination, also called provincial control line and batch line, refers to the admission score line of the national unified examination for enrollment of ordinary colleges and universities, which is a score line that candidates must pass if they want to go to a batch of universities.

(2) The full name of the admission line is the minimum admission control score line for college enrollment. It refers to the lowest score (total score) standard for recruiting new students determined by the provincial admissions department according to the results of all local candidates' college entrance examination and the enrollment plan issued by the state in that year.

(3) Only the files of candidates (usually referred to as "online candidates") whose total score in the college entrance examination reaches or exceeds this score are eligible to be read by the admissions institutions and selected for admission. Under normal circumstances, "online candidates" are about 20% more than planned enrollment.
