If you plan to go to European countries, take the IELTS test.
IELTS is jointly organized by the Examinations Committee of Cambridge University, the British Consulate and the Australian International Development Program, and is adopted by many universities in Britain, Australia, New Zealand, North America and countries where English is not the mother tongue but many professional courses are taught in English. Therefore, IELTS is suitable for students from European countries, such as Britain, Ireland, New Zealand and Singapore.
If you plan to study in North America, take the TOEFL.
TOEFL is an exam sponsored by the Education Testing Service Center (ETS), the largest examination institution in the United States, to determine the English level and level that students from non-English-speaking countries should have when studying in the United States, Canada and other countries. TOEFL candidates mainly study in the United States and Canada. Therefore, anyone who applies to study in these two countries, whether undergraduate, master or doctor, must have TOEFL scores.
