The south campus of Guangzhou campus covers an area of 1.239 square kilometers, the north campus of Guangzhou campus covers an area of 0.208 square kilometers, the east campus of Guangzhou campus covers an area of 0.989 square kilometers, the Zhuhai campus covers an area of 3.57 1 square kilometers, and the Shenzhen campus covers an area of 3. 143 square kilometers (red line area of pre-selected land).
The school library has a total construction area of 1 1 000 square meters, with 7,033,700 paper books, 2,000 electronic books, 20,500 electronic periodicals, 738 databases and 2,000 audio-visual resources.
The school has built a large and leading campus network in China, covering four campuses. The export bandwidth of Internet IPv4 is 2 1.52Gbps, and that of IPv6 is 1 Gbps. The campus wireless network has covered about 180 buildings and deployed about 12000 wireless access points.

Sun Yat-sen University, founded by Dr. Sun Yat-sen, has a school-running tradition of 100 years.
