How many classes are there in a major in a university?
It depends on popularity. For example, only in the foreign languages department, there are at least five classes in English and about two classes in Japanese, but there are usually at most one person in small languages such as French and German.

For a popular major like finance, two large classes can't run, but it's ok to divide classes, and the number of students in that class will not be small.

Literature will not be absent from class. There are at least two classes in Chinese language and literature, and there are fewer classes in educational psychology, which will probably be 1-2, depending on which one you choose.

Generally speaking, there are many people majoring in literature, art and emotion, and there are many classes. There will be relatively few science classes.

However, this is not absolute. If it is a university of science and engineering, the course will be relatively average, but the deviation will not be too great.
