Nature of running a school:

Jishou University, founded in 1958, runs schools in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture and Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province. It is a comprehensive university in Hunan Province and the only comprehensive university in Wuling Mountain area.

The school has successively become an ordinary university jointly established by the State Ethnic Affairs Commission and the Hunan Provincial Government, a batch-admitted university, a doctor's degree authorized unit, a high-level university in Hunan Province, a "double-first-class" university in Hunan Province, and recommended excellent undergraduate graduates to study for a master's degree without examination.

The school does not organize art school exams. Art majors are based on the results of the provincial unified examination and the cultural achievements of the college entrance examination. In provinces where there are no clear rules for filing, schools will select candidates from high scores to low scores according to their comprehensive scores. In the case of the same comprehensive scores, those with high scores in the professional unified examination will be given priority.

According to the employer's recruitment requirements, the height of male and female students majoring in dance is not less than 1.7m in principle. It is suggested that candidates with unqualified height apply carefully for the exam to facilitate the smooth employment.
