Nanjing University of Technology, referred to as "Nangong" for short, was jointly established by the National Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and Jiangsu Province, and was selected into the national "20 1 1 plan", "excellent engineer education and training plan".
