Purple symbolizes mystery and nobility, and flame symbolizes enthusiasm and progress. Since its establishment, the drama club has received strong support from the leaders of the Youth League Committee and the College of Literature. As an important part of Jilin University's famous literary club and college students' art troupe, it has been loved by teachers and students and paid attention by people from all walks of life, and has achieved excellent results in various drama competitions inside and outside the school. In 2007, Sunrise, a drama rehearsed by Yanzi Drama Club, won almost all awards at the Third College Students' Drama Festival in Jilin Province, and won the "Excellent Performance Award" together with two professional troupes of Jilin Art Institute, which was the most awarded club in this competition. In May 2008, the first independent campus film "Qing" was created by the drama club. The exhibition tour was not successfully held in major campuses of Jilin University, and was uploaded to major domestic video websites simultaneously. It was rated as "Youku's Best Original Video", which aroused strong repercussions both inside and outside the campus. After the Wenchuan earthquake, Yanzi Drama Club took the lead in carrying out disaster relief activities, and decided to stop the activities related to the 2008 drama "The Return of My Lady", which had been prepared and rehearsed for nearly two months, and quickly organized a "We are with you" disaster relief poetry reading meeting to express its support to compatriots in the disaster area with practical actions. From June 5438+February 5 to June 5438+00, 2008, Thunderstorm, the representative work of the 10th anniversary of Ziyan Drama Club, successfully toured three times and participated in the 4th College Students Drama Festival in Jilin Province. With its wonderful expressive force, it won all awards, and * * * won 37 individual awards, ranking first among the participating universities, among which Li Leran won the best actress with the highest gold content in this competition. On February 20th, 65438, Yanzi Drama Club was named "Top Ten Model Societies of Jilin University" and became the only literary and art society in Jilin University to receive this honor. On April 23, 2009, the first independent campus digital film "The Other Side" of Jilin University, which was jointly produced by Yanzi Drama Club, held its premiere. The film is well-made and the story is smooth. The main creations such as starring and screenwriter are all from Yanzi Drama Club, and the theme song is also originally produced by Yanzi Drama Club members. The other shore has been loved and supported by the students, which once again shows the profound foundation of Yanzi Drama Club in drama, film and television creation.
Nowadays, as the leader of drama clubs in northeast universities, Yanzi Drama Club has formed a unique system and a scientific and efficient system in terms of work creation, talent training and cultural inheritance, and has become one of the business cards of Jilin University campus culture.
