Guangxi Normal University is a key university in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, located in Guilin, a world-famous scenic and historical city. The school has a long history, which was founded in 1932 and formerly known as Guangxi Normal University. Six name changes, eight relocations and four adjustments. 1936 merged with Guangxi University; 194 1 Rebuild Guangxi Teachers College, 1942 changed its name to provincial Guilin Teachers College, 1943 upgraded to national Guilin Teachers College, and started to organize undergraduate education independently. /kloc-moved to Nanning in 0/946 and changed its name to National Nanning Teachers College. 1950 moved back to Guilin and merged with Guangxi University again; 1953 national faculty adjustment, ordered Guangxi University to be cancelled and Guangxi Normal University was established on the basis of the original College of Culture, Education and Science of Guangxi University; 1983 was renamed Guangxi Normal University.

Wangcheng Campus is the earliest cultural and educational center in the history of Guangxi, and its context has been inherited for more than 1000 years. During the Southern Dynasties, Yan Yanzhi, a famous writer, opened a "Reading Rock" under Duxiufeng, where Central Plains culture and Lingnan culture met for the first time. In the Tang Dynasty, the observation of the officials in Guangxi prompted Li Changlong to establish your school, the first public school in Guangxi and Guizhou.
