Old Campus: The Lotus Campus of Kunming University of Science and Technology is located in Wuhua District, Kunming, covering an area of 680 mu. The International Academic Exchange Center of Kunming University of Science and Technology, the National Engineering Laboratory of Vacuum Metallurgy and some colleges remain in the Lotus Campus.

Graduate students from School of Metallurgy and Energy Engineering, School of Land and Resources Engineering, School of Management and Economics, and School of Materials Science and Engineering study in this campus, while the rest (except City College of Kunming University of Science and Technology) study in Chenggong main campus.
