Wuhan University of Technology is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. It is the first batch of universities listed in the national "2 1 1 Project" and "Double First Class" construction. It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Transport. The history of running a school originated from Hubei Technical School, which was established in 1898.
