Tsinghua University University 19 1 1 Born. It was built on the part of boxer indemnity returned by the United States. It is named after the Tsinghua campus in the northwest suburb of Beijing. Formerly known as "Tsinghua School", it was a preparatory school for studying in the United States founded by the Qing government. The following year, it was renamed "Tsinghua School". In order to try to cultivate talents locally, 1925 established the undergraduate department; 1928 changed its name to "National Tsinghua University". 1937 after the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the school moved south to Changsha, and jointly established "National Temporary University of Changsha" with Peking University and Nankai University. 1938 moved to Kunming and changed its name to "National Southwest Associated University"; 1946 moved back to the original site of Beijing Tsinghua Campus, and has been using the name of Tsinghua University since then, which has nothing to do with what you said about Jinghua University.
