Boda College of Jilin Normal University is located in Siping City, Jilin Province, a heroic city in the beautiful Songliao Plain. College started construction at the end of 1999. In April 2000, it was officially approved by the Jilin Provincial Education Commission as the second-level college of Jilin Normal University, and the first batch of freshmen enrolled in the autumn of that year. In March 2004, it was approved as an independent college by the Ministry of Education.

The college now has 39 undergraduate majors and 9 specialist majors, covering 7 major disciplines such as literature, science, engineering, education, management, law and art, forming 5 major professional groups such as language and literature, teacher education, science and engineering, management and art media. Boda College inherits and develops Jilin Normal University's rich experience in running schools, continuously deepens education reform, strengthens teaching management, and actively explores and establishes new training modes.
