Three Gorges University is an electrical comprehensive university, one of the four "first-class universities" in China and one of the "first-class disciplines" in Hubei Province. It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Water Resources and the Hubei Provincial People's Government, and it is also the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan" of the Ministry of Education. So the Three Gorges University ranks 130 in the whole country.
