Hosted by Haidian District People's Government of Beijing and Beijing TV Station, organized by Zhongguancun Haidian Park and Beijing Kaku Animation Satellite TV, and co-organized by Beijing Kaku Animation Culture Co., Ltd., the "2008 Kaku Animation Carnival" will be held at the China Millennium Monument from September 28th to June 5th. As the first drama of the 3rd China (Beijing) International College Animation Festival, it will bring a golden autumn to Beijing in the Eleventh Golden Week.

Kaku Animation Carnival is a large-scale animation activity of China's top brands, which was jointly created by Beijing TV and Beijing Kaku Animation Satellite TV with the care and support of the Propaganda Department of Beijing Municipal Committee. Since its establishment in 2007, it has been successfully held in Beijing, Tianjin, Dalian and other cities, and has been warmly welcomed by animation lovers and manufacturers, which has played a very positive role in promoting the development of domestic animation industry and become a cultural and creative brand with great industrial value. Compared with previous activities, "Kaku Cartoon Carnival 2008" aims to create a perfect storm integrating animation, games and high technology, presenting a series of new features:

As the opening activity of the 3rd China (Beijing) International College Student Animation Festival, the 2008 Kaku Animation Carnival will have more industry specifications and international vision than previous ones. The China (Beijing) International College Student Animation Festival, which enjoys the same reputation as the China (Hangzhou) International Animation Festival, is the first international college student animation festival approved by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television in China, and the only two animation international competitions officially approved by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television.
