Let's talk about a major that is "unpopular" in the eyes of the public-social work, which is in such a science and technology school. I believe most people have never heard of it. However, due to the large-scale enrollment this year, I was fortunate enough to listen to the professional course of social work, which gave me a different understanding of such an unpopular subject.

The strength of social work in our school is actually very strong, and the publication of professional journals can rank among the top in the world 1%! It is global! When I first heard this data, I was also surprised, which simply subverted my cognition. Is this really a polytechnic?

The teacher who teaches us is Liu Ying, who is very experienced in social work research. Every class will share some cases of our own actual research, so that we can know the world in different ways and learn from her how to "get in touch" with a new group, which is very interesting.

Under the guidance of the teacher, take part in innovative projects for college students and conduct reasonable research with teammates. In fact, what we did may not be very in-depth, but in this process, I learned to cooperate with my teammates and how to learn, which made me gain the most.

The completion of my senior year also exposed me to more social work, and I can study the water supply problem in Beijing very much. It can also be very small, involving internal family relations; I can learn more about post-traumatic recovery ... in this major, I feel full of compassion and concentration.

Soon we will be divided into majors, and I'm going to study social work well. I haven't heard the name of this major a year ago. Thanks to Beijing Institute of Technology for letting me know such a meaningful thing and finding my own direction.
