Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, was founded by Sichuan Provincial People's Government and state administration of traditional chinese medicine. It is a provincial-level key institution of higher learning with Chinese medicine as the main body, multidisciplinary cross-infiltration and coordinated development, and it is the first batch of "double-first-class" world-class discipline construction institutions in China.
Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, formerly known as Chengdu College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was founded in 1956. It is one of the earliest four institutions of higher learning of traditional Chinese medicine in China, which was established with the approval of the State Council under the cordial care of Zhou Enlai and other first-generation leading collectives of the Party and the country. 1995 was renamed with the approval of the State Education Commission.
As of March 20 18, Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine has four campuses, namely Wenjiang Campus, Shiqiao Campus, Rennan Q Campus and Wangjiaguai Campus, covering an area of 1800 mu, with teaching and research instruments and equipment assets of 31000,000 yuan and paper books1/kloc-0. There are 19 colleges and 36 undergraduate majors; There are 22,000 full-time students.
As of March 20 17, among the school's professional and technical personnel, there are more than 400 people with senior titles and more than 300 doctoral and master's tutors.
