After graduation, she first worked as a teaching assistant in the Department of Mathematics, and then won a humbert scholarship with her husband to study in Germany. Xu Ruiyun's tutor is the famous mathematician Caratheodory. "At that time, Caratheodory was a little old and didn't want to accept any more students, but when I saw my mother studying hard and getting good grades, I accepted her as an apprentice. Wang Yuan's article is written by himself, which is three pages long. He called himself "an old student in xu teacher sixty-five years ago". From 65438 to 0949, Wang Yuan transferred from the English Department of Zhejiang University to the Mathematics Department of Zhejiang University, and took algebra classes with Xu Ruiyun.
