Central University ranks in the top ten among private universities, but it is much worse than many national universities.
To give a simple example, we all know that Waseda University, a famous Japanese school, ranks second among private schools, but it ranks lower in Japan, even failing to enter the top 10, ranking 12, and private Keio University ranks 1 1 in Japan. The top ten universities in Japan are all national universities.
