Qian Xuesen was born in Shanghai on 19 1 1. 1923 was admitted to the High School Attached to Beijing Normal University, 1929 was admitted to the Railway Engineering Department of Shanghai Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Jiaotong University, Ministry of Railways, and 1934 graduated from Jiaotong University. In June of the same year, she was admitted as an American student in the 7th Geng Prize of Tsinghua University.

After returning to China, he served as the technical director of rocket, missile and satellite development for a long time, and made outstanding contributions to the establishment and development of China's missile and space industry.
