The ancient Shu Dao not only has high scientific value, but also has special application value. On May 12, 2008, the Wenchuan earthquake, whether the ancient Shu Road in Guangyuan will be destroyed, has aroused great concern and anxiety of experts and professors. Experts believe that the ancient Shu Road in China has extremely special world heritage value and should be well protected as a world cultural route heritage.

In order to apply for the heritage of ancient Shu Dao, "2009 China Shu Dao Guangyuan International Forum" was held in Sichuan Guangyuan International Hotel on June 5438+065438+ 10/. The ancient Shu Road may be included in the third batch of world cultural route heritage preparation list. Experts believe that the ancient Shu Road is fully qualified to enter the World Cultural Route Heritage Protection List. "Like the Grand Canal, other countries may have it, but the ancient Shu Road is the only one in the world." The meeting also launched an initiative to apply for World Heritage, resulting in the Guangyuan Declaration on China's Application for World Heritage. From then on, the prelude of China Shu Dao's application for World Heritage was opened.
