19 19, when Pang was 24 years old, he presented a poem to Zhao Yaosheng of Rongxian County, which was highly recommended, that is, he wrote to Lin Shan (Jin Si) for recommendation. At that time, Lin Shan was the principal of Huayang County Middle School (now Chengdu No.3 Middle School), that is, Pang was hired to teach at Huayang County Middle School. 1920, (Zheng) hired Pang to teach in middle school (now Shibao Middle School in Chengdu). 1924, disciple Zhao Yaosheng of Rong County recommended Pang to Xianqiao (Chu) as Professor chengdu normal university (predecessor of Sichuan University). Since then, Pang has been teaching in colleges and universities, and has served as a professor at Chengdu Normal University, the head of the Chinese Department, a professor at Sichuan University, a professor at Huaxi University, the head of the Chinese Department, a professor at Guanghua University and the head of the Chinese Department. At that time, the teacher's life was so hard that he had to teach middle school at the same time. He has taught in huayang middle school, Chengdu Lilian Middle School, Chengdu County Middle School (now Chengdu No.7 Middle School) and private Shude Middle School (now Chengdu No.9 Middle School). Pang Shizhen came from humble origins and lived a clean life. Before liberation, he did not join any political party. His outstanding talent and noble moral character made the students he taught in universities and middle schools admire and admire him.

After liberation, Pang was still a professor and head of the Department of Classical Literature at Sichuan University, instructing graduate students. 195 1 summer solstice 1952 in the spring, I studied in a research class for college teachers run by Chongqing Southwest Polytechnic University. Pang teaches in the Chinese Department of Sichuan University, taking elective courses such as History of China Literature, Selected Works, Poetry Collection and Selected Poems, among which China Literary Criticism is the most popular. He taught this course with Liu Zhifeng's Wen Xin Diao Long and Zhang Taiyan's Lun Heng (Volume I and II) as teaching materials. He once wrote "On the Balance of National Heritage", which not only deeply studied the classics, literature and history, Buddhist scriptures and foreign books involved in Zhang Taiyan's original works, but also clearly distinguished right from wrong. Moreover, it is a rare and profound work to explore and understand the original words and sentences of Zhang Shu. He told the story of "Wen Xin Diao Long", with many incisive opinions. In particular, he often relates the relationship between poetry criticism after Tang and Song Dynasties and Liu Shu, discusses it and is widely read. He talks about expert poetry, using two collections of poems by Du Fu and Su Shi as teaching materials, and the lecture notes have been published in Caotang (No.2, 198 1) and other publications. Pang Yu 1963 began to write three volumes of Notes on threshing ground, which were published by Sichuan Literature and Art Publishing House. The book has the characteristics of correct views, beautiful wording, thought-provoking and earnest. After the book was published, it was well received not only by domestic scholars, but also by Hong Kong, Taiwan and foreign scholars. His poems were accumulated in the manuscript, and his students edited and arranged them into Records of Poetry in Yang Qing Room and Records of Poetry in Yang Qing Room.

Pang Shizhen spared no effort to teach students and help them fall behind. The students he taught at Sichuan University, West China Sheikh University and Chenghua University all established their own positions. Qu, a student he taught at Sichuan University, founded the Chinese Department of Chenghua University after graduation and later became a professor and head of the Chinese Department of Sichuan Normal University. Xiang Chu, his last graduate student, is now a professor of Chinese Department of Sichuan University, a doctoral supervisor, a famous Dunhuang scholar, philologist, linguist and literary historian in China. His research field is centered on Dunhuang studies, covering linguistics, literature, philology and Buddhism. Among them, Dunhuang popular literature research occupies a leading position in the world and enjoys a high reputation in international academic circles. He has published many monographs and academic papers, such as Collection of Dunhuang Literary Texts and Notes on Dunhuang Bianwen.

Pang Shizhen supported the * * * production party and loved the new China. From 65438 to 0956, he went to Beijing via Wuhan to attend a seminar on the history of China literature and wrote a series of poems. The poem "Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge" said: "There is no water without waves, and the nine-track trailer is smart. Later generations know the natural hazards, and the ancients said to drive. " (Note: "The bridge foundation is visible and auspicious". The poem "Arriving in Beijing" said: "The weather is different except for the stinging of the bronze camel. Liu Lang and I have different ideas. Today Du Xuansheng is Xiandu. " (Note: "1934 I traveled to old Beijing, and now I am 22 years old. I have a new climate and have been fascinated for a long time." His patriotism and inspirational spirit have been fully demonstrated in these works.

Pang Yu 1964+ died of pulmonary heart disease in February.
