Ten Must-Ask Questions about Home Visit of University Teachers
Ten questions that university teachers must ask when visiting their homes are as follows:

1, ask about learning interest, not learning level.

Teachers can consciously understand children's learning interests, learning habits, learning methods and so on. By doing so, you can understand your child's learning situation and pay special attention to it in future education.

Teachers should not directly ask children's learning level or such topics as "how are their studies", so as not to have a "preconceived" prejudice against children, or to make those children who are not so good at learning feel lost.

2. Ask the advantages, not the disadvantages.

The teacher can ask the child what advantages he has, so that he can have a more comprehensive, three-dimensional and vivid understanding of the child and make the child love you more because the child understands-the teacher knows what advantages I have.

Teachers should not directly ask children what shortcomings or deficiencies they have. Such problems can easily lead to parents and children's nervousness, and even doubt whether teachers will be biased against themselves or their children. Whether the child has any shortcomings should be left to the teacher to carefully observe and understand in the future work and help the child to correct it slowly.

3. Ask about family, not personal privacy.

Teachers can ask children about their families, such as who the family members are, what their parents do, and who the children usually listen to. Doing so can truly and comprehensively understand the living environment of children and think about how to educate and help them in the future.

Talking skills of teachers' home visits

1. Doing a good job as a class teacher is the prerequisite for the success of "home visit". In the eyes of students, besides becoming a professional teacher, they must have two basic advantages: responsibility and fairness. If the head teacher doesn't know the art of conversation, it will be difficult to achieve the success of "home visit".

2, clear the purpose of "home visit", highlight the focus of the conversation. The purpose of home visits is usually:

(1) Report the students' school situation to parents in time.

(2) Understand the family situation of students, the influence of family education and family environment on students, and the performance of students in the family.

(3) Cooperate with parents to improve the education of students.

According to the above three purposes, the "home visit" conversation is also divided into three parts:

(1) Introduce the students' school situation in the form of a separate class teacher.

(2) Understand the students' family situation through questions from the class teacher and explanations from parents.

(3) Improve student education in the form of two-way dialogue.
