As a college student who has just come into contact with professional knowledge, it is unscientific to directly contact with advanced professional knowledge before studying professional courses. For this reason, the college led us to carry out this internship, so that we can have a perceptual understanding of this major from practice and lay a solid foundation for future professional courses. As we have done construction practice last semester, we are already familiar with this graduation practice. First of all, through the introduction of Mr. Xiao, we have a basic understanding of the main person in charge of the construction site and the general situation of the project. AB Company, my internship, is a new company just registered in Hainan. The projects undertaken by this engineering company include four buildings, namely, Building A, Building B, Building C and Building D for short, of which Building A and Building D were built earlier, while the other two buildings were built later, and all four buildings are commercial and residential buildings. Teacher Xiao also assigned us some internship tasks and explained some matters needing attention in the internship process.
The internship task is mainly to look at the drawings and go to the next construction site for internship. First of all, let me talk about the drawings. In order to understand the designer's design principle more clearly, we also specially purchased the atlas and conducted in-depth research on the drawings. In this process, everyone was very active and raised many insightful questions. We also had a heated discussion, trying to understand everything we don't understand. Because we have to do the graduation project after the internship, it is really important for us to look at the pictures, and everyone is very serious.
During the period of reading the drawings, we also went to the construction site for internship and saw the inspection, pile extension and reinforcement of the foundation piles. We have seen the whole process of foundation pile detection, and the detection instruments for foundation piles are advanced, which can detect most unqualified foundation piles, mainly broken piles and upper piles (mud piles) with excessive mud content. The formation of broken piles is mainly due to the discontinuity of concrete after solidification, and the middle is filled with loose bodies such as washing liquid and soil. The prevention measures are mainly to control the elevation of concrete surface at any time in the process of concrete pouring, improve accuracy and reliability, and strictly abide by the operating procedures. Strictly determine the mix proportion of concrete, the concrete should have good workability and fluidity, and the slump loss should meet the pouring requirements. Concrete pouring requires a continuous and rapid pouring process, and sufficient concrete should be prepared when pouring. The formation of mud piles is mainly due to the fact that when the machine is close to the ground, most of the concrete in the machine is injected into the soil layer, which reduces the heavy pressure of concrete on the lower piles, so that soil impurities enter the concrete and the bearing capacity of the piles is seriously reduced, which must be treated. The treatment of mud piles is relatively simple. Basically, the upper part is dug up, about one meter, and then the pile is connected. The process of pile extension is the concrete pouring process of pile, and there is not much technical content. However, pile extension is not very simple. Because the pile extension position is lower than the construction drainage surface, it is necessary to drain the water in the pile pit manually at the pile extension position. This process is labor-intensive and time-consuming, and requires technological innovation. In fact, there is a simpler and more convenient construction method, but it is not very economical, so it cannot be widely used, that is, precast concrete piles. Precast concrete piles are processed in the factory according to the requirements of drawings, and the quality of piles is strictly controlled, so that the quality of piles is reliably guaranteed. Moreover, in the process of piling, it is very convenient to judge whether the depth of the pile is reasonable according to the penetration and the friction bearing capacity of the pile tip.
We also specially studied steel bars. In the past, only teachers said that steel bars occupied a lot of money in a project. Now, I saw it with my own eyes. Sure enough, at the construction site of Building 1, the whole site was covered with steel bars, and the workers were busy tying the steel bars. Everyone has a clear division of labor and is very serious.
Through more than three weeks of internship and practice, I have learned a lot of practical knowledge. The so-called practice is the only criterion for testing truth. By being on standby, I closely observed the construction process and learned a lot of applicable concrete construction knowledge, which I seldom contact and pay attention to at school, but it is also very important basic knowledge. For example, for the binding of steel bars, the binding of the underlying foundation steel bars must be carried out first, and the number of joints per span steel bar is only 25, that is, four steel bars are only 1 joint. In addition, the joint should be located in the compression zone as far as possible. Practice is the second classroom of university life, the source of continuous innovation and development of knowledge, the touchstone of testing truth and an effective way for college students to exercise and grow. Only in practice can a person's knowledge and ability play a role and be enriched, perfected and developed. In order to grow up, college students should be diligent in practice, combine the theoretical knowledge they have learned with practice, keep learning, summarize, improve and innovate in practice, improve their comprehensive quality and ability in practice, and lay a good foundation for the success of their career.
