Overview of Gansu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Gansu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a provincial public undergraduate college with higher education enrollment qualification approved by the Ministry of Education. Founded in 1978, formerly known as Gansu College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, it was renamed Gansu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine with the approval of the Ministry of Education on October 20/5. It is a "pilot reform of education and training plan for excellent doctors (Chinese medicine)" approved by Gansu Provincial People's Government, state administration of traditional chinese medicine, Ministry of Education and state administration of traditional chinese medicine. It is a "China Government Scholarship" for training international students in China, an institution that recommends outstanding fresh graduates to study for master's degree without examination, and a "5+3" integrated enrollment institution for Chinese medicine majors. The school has the right to award doctoral, master's and bachelor's degrees, and it is the only university of traditional Chinese medicine in northwest China with the right to award doctoral degrees.
