The Henan Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government attach great importance to the construction of Henan Theatre Art College. Yu Kuizhi, a famous Peking Opera performer, was invited as the dean, Li Shujian, a famous Henan Opera performer, as the honorary dean, and Li Shengsu, a famous Peking Opera performer, as the artistic director. There are more than 200 faculty members in the college, mainly teachers with professional and technical positions above the deputy senior level.
