Admission requirements of Aalto University
A complete bachelor's degree in related fields corresponding to the Finnish bachelor's degree (180 ECTS credits), or an equivalent degree obtained from an internationally recognized university. In some countries, academic qualifications and transcripts need to be officially certified by the education department and sent directly to schools by institutions. Please refer to the descriptions of relevant course items.

Students in the last year of undergraduate education can also apply for Aalto, and qualified students can be admitted conditionally. If you have not completed your studies, please attach a written statement provided by the degree management office (or equivalent department) stating the expected graduation date.

This requirement applies to all applicants. All international master's programs are taught in English, so applicants must provide valid proof of language proficiency. The following languages meet the requirements and minimum requirements.

The total score of IELTS (academic only) is 6.5 (including the writing item is not less than 5.5);

TOEFL 92(IBT) 580(PBT) (in which writing items are not less than 22 and 4.0);

Cambridge Advanced English Certificate/Cambridge English Proficiency Certificate (CAE/CPE) Grade A, B and C.

The total score of PTE (academic only) is 59 (including no less than 50 writing items).

Some majors need GMAT scores. Due to the limited number of places in each project, there are a large number of applicants from various countries and regions around the world every year, so the competition is fierce. Applicants need to show high academic level and motivation to get admission opportunities. Please refer to official website for specific project requirements and research direction.
