Shenyang Metro Line 2 refers to the second line in Shenyang urban rail transit system. It is the second underground railway operated by passengers in Northeast China after Shenyang Metro 1 Line. Because the main part is basically the same as the urban golden corridor in Shenyang, it runs through six Shenyang jurisdictions: Shenbei, Yuhong, Huanggu, Shenhe, Heping and Hunnan, so it is also called the "golden corridor line".

Shenyang Metro Line 2 currently under construction;

North extension line: (partially opened, partially under construction) total length 10.6 km, with 7 stations, also known as underground section of Shenyang-Railway Intercity Railway. There are: Medical College Station, Normal University Station, University of Aeronautics and Astronautics Station, Liaoning University Station, Renjiehu Park Station, Puhe Avenue Station and Putian Road Station.

Nanyan Line: The total length is 14.2km, with 8 stations, also known as Taoxian Airport Line of Shenyang Metro Line 2. There are: Taoxian Street Station, Shenxin East Road Station, Quanyun No.3 Road Station, Citizen Square Station, Science Park Station, Taoxian Station, Terminal Station and Taoxian Airport Station.
