Xinhua News Agency, Wuhan, May 24th-The 23rd China University Basketball League (CUBA) came to an end at the Optics Valley Gymnasium of Wuhan Huazhong University of Science and Technology on May 24th. After five days of fierce competition, the final list of the top eight came out: beijing university of chemical technology, Tsinghua University, Xiamen University, Peking University, Taiyuan University of Technology, Guangdong University of Technology, Shanghai Jiaotong University and China University of Mining and Technology.

According to the competition system, the quarter-finals adopt the home and away two-round competition system, and the one with higher total score in the two games will be promoted to the top eight in China. The first round of the quarterfinals will be held on May 29th and 30th. Shanghai Jiaotong University, Guangdong University of Technology, Taiyuan University of Technology and China University of Mining and Technology will play against beijing university of chemical technology, Tsinghua University, Xiamen University and Peking University respectively.
