Chongqing Yitong College is two universities. Chongqing Institute of Mobile Communication is located in Hechuan University Town, Chongqing. It is a full-time private undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education and headed by the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. It is a reform pilot college in Universities of Applied Sciences, China.

From June 5438 to February 2020, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was agreed that Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications would be restructured into Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and the establishment of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications would be abolished.
