The score below 60 is the first level, that is, the entrance should start from the college English level; (You can't take the CET-4 exam at this level.)

There are two levels from 60 to 80, and the school starts from the second level;

A score of 80 or above is Level 3, starting from College English Level 3.

English grading:

PETS- 1: the first level is the primary level, and its examination requirements are slightly higher than the English level of junior high school graduates (PETS- 1B is the subsidiary level of the national English level examination).

PETS-2: The second level is the middle and lower level, which is equivalent to the English level of outstanding graduates from ordinary high schools.

PETS-3: Level 3 is an intermediate level, which is equivalent to the level of China students who have studied English in colleges and universities for two years after graduating from high school or have taught themselves English courses of the same level.

PETS-4: CET-4 is the upper-middle level, which is equivalent to the level of China students who have studied English for at least 3-4 years at university or have taught themselves English courses of the same level after graduating from high school.

PETS-5: Band 5 is the highest level, which is equivalent to the level of college English majors in China at the end of the second year. It is an English proficiency test specially designed for those who apply for public study abroad.

Note: English proficiency test is a national English test administered by the Ministry of Education. Its purpose is to objectively and accurately measure the actual English ability of college students and provide evaluation services for college English teaching. College English test is a large-scale standardized test, and its design must meet the quality requirements of educational measurement theory, and it is a norm reference test related to standards.
