Peking University East Gate is 200 meters away from Tsinghua West Gate. There are also University of Geology, University of Science and Technology, University of Mining and Technology, Language Institute, University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Haidian University, Petroleum University, Forestry University and East Campus of Agricultural University near Tsinghua. These are all in the east of Tsinghua, and Peking University is in the west of Tsinghua. There are not many universities around Peking University. Three stops south of Peking University are Renmin University, Beijing Institute of Technology and Minzu University.
