Peking University, China Renmin University and Beijing Normal University, three established strong liberal arts schools, once again won the top three in liberal arts strength. Peking University won the first place in the country in six dimensions: discipline strength, discipline accuracy, high-end talents, major achievements, academic papers and scientific research platforms, with 10 A+ disciplines, and once again won the champion of liberal arts strength; China Renmin University ranks first in discipline scale and scientific research projects, second only to Peking University in discipline strength, discipline accuracy, high-end talents, major achievements and academic papers, and second in comprehensive strength of liberal arts. Beijing Normal University ranks third in China, after Peking University and Renmin University of China.
Fudan University and Tsinghua University ranked fourth and fifth in liberal arts, while Wuhan University, East China Normal University, Nanjing University, Zhejiang University and Sun Yat-sen University ranked sixth to tenth.
Evaluation method
The strength rating of liberal arts in China University includes eight dimensions: discipline scale, discipline strength, discipline accuracy, high-end talents, scientific research projects, major achievements, academic papers and scientific research platforms. Compared with 2020, this year's ranking of liberal arts strength has added two evaluation dimensions: high-end talents and scientific research platforms.
