Xinglin College of Nantong University is an independent undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. College was founded in February 1999, formerly known as Xinglin College of Nantong Medical College. In May 2004, Nantong University was formed by the merger of Nantong Medical College, Nantong Institute of Technology and Nantong Normal College, and was renamed as Xinglin College of Nantong University.

The college takes Qidong campus as the main campus. The campus is located in the economically developed high-tech industrial park in Qidong City, Jiangsu Province. It is adjacent to the Yellow Sea in the east and Shanghai.
