I am a child of a single-parent family. My father divorced or died in 20xx, leaving a series of debts at home. Family life is very difficult now, and the whole family has to rely on her mother to work outside. Now, my mother has to support me and my sister to go to school together, and at the same time, she has to maintain the daily expenses at home. So, life is hard!

When I came to college, I knew that the opportunity to go to school was hard-won. I scrimped and saved, turned pressure into motivation, and worked hard all the time. I actively participated in various school activities and helped my classmates enthusiastically. Now, as a freshman, I am an active party member. I hope that through my own efforts, I can make my family happy, repay my relatives and friends who have helped me with good grades, and repay the country and society.

I have also been engaged in exploring various jobs that can earn some living expenses. I have done sales promotion, worked as an outfield host, and I have done some business myself. Using the knowledge learned and developed network resources, I gradually got some ideas about the business. I don't play games or sleep in my spare time. I learned to make full use of all my resources to lighten the burden for my family. College students should be confident, self-reliant and self-reliant, but at present, the high tuition fees are not enough on my own. I hope the college leaders will sympathize with the parents' difficulties and give some help.

I submitted the relevant poverty certificate to the school at the beginning of my enrollment in September, 20xx, but I haven't received any funding so far. After relevant consultation, it was learned that the number of poor students was limited and there was no timely review.
