Hubei University is neither 985 nor 2 1 1. Hubei University, referred to as "Huda" for short, is a key comprehensive university in Hubei Province, a "double-first-class" construction university in Hubei Province, and was selected as the national "Basic Capacity Building Project for Universities in the Midwest". It is a national model university for deepening the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education, a scholarship receiving institution of China government for international students in China, and a scholarship receiving institution of Confucius Institute.

Hubei University, mbth: Hubei University, referred to as "Huda", was founded in 193 1. As of June, 2022, the school has three campuses: Wuchang main campus, Hankou campus and Yangluo campus, covering a total area of more than 2,000 mu. The college has 23 discipline colleges and 87 undergraduate majors. Hubei University, Wuchang main campus is located at No.368 Youyi Avenue, Wuchang District, Wuhan, Hankou campus is located at No.Sheng Xing Road 1 Chenjiaji Street, Wuhan, and Yangluo campus is located at No.630 Pingjiang East Road, Yangluo, Xinzhou District, Wuhan.
