Brief introduction of Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology
Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology is located in the first batch of national civilized cities and beautiful grassland steel city Baotou. Its predecessor was Baotou Iron and Steel Industry School and Baotou Architectural Engineering School, which was founded in 1956. They belong to the former Ministry of Metallurgical Industry. 1958 The two universities merged to form Baotou Institute of Technology. 1960 was renamed Baotou iron and steel institute, and 1998 was placed under the management of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and implemented centrally. 1997 passed the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment of the Ministry of Education, and passed the undergraduate teaching level assessment of the Ministry of Education with excellent results in 2008. 1986 jointly trained graduate students, 199 1 became the authorized unit of master, and on 20 13 became the authorized unit of doctor. 20 16 passed the examination and evaluation of undergraduate teaching work by the Ministry of Education, and 20 17 was approved by the Ministry of Education as a newly-built university with postgraduate exemption qualification.
The school has now developed into a multi-disciplinary university featuring metallurgy, mining, coal and rare earth, focusing on engineering, with the coordinated development of engineering, science, literature, management, economics, law, art and teaching, and integrating postgraduate education, undergraduate education, higher vocational education, continuing education and international education. ;
