2. Introduction of East China Normal University
East China Normal University, referred to as "East China Normal University", is located in China. Directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), it has a graduate school. It is a comprehensive national key university jointly established by the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and the State Oceanic Administration.
East China Normal University was established in June 195 1 65438+ 10/6. Based on Daxia University (1924) and Guanghua University (1925), it was transferred to Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Tongji University and St. John's University. 1972, merged with Shanghai Normal University, Shanghai Institute of Physical Education and other institutions and changed its name to Shanghai Normal University. 1980, the name of East China Normal University was restored. 1996, which was listed in the "2 1 1 project" national key construction university. 1997 and 1998, Shanghai Preschool Teachers College, Shanghai Institute of Education and Shanghai Second Institute of Education merged one after another. 3. Introduction of Shanghai Normal University
Shanghai Normal University, referred to as Shanghai Normal University for short, was founded by the people of China, the Ministry of Education and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. As a key university in Shanghai, it has been selected into "National Postgraduate Program for Building High-level Universities", "Excellent Teacher Training Program" and "Overseas High-level Talents Introduction Program". It is the receiving institution of China government scholarship and the preparatory base for foreign students in Shanghai. It is a well-known liberal arts school.
The school was founded in 1954 and was named Shanghai Normal University at that time. 1956, expanded to undergraduate colleges, Shanghai First Normal University and Shanghai Second Normal University. 1958 The two universities merged to form Shanghai Normal University. From 1972 to 1978, it merged with five schools including East China Normal University to form Shanghai Normal University. 1978 Restore Shanghai Normal University. 1984 was renamed as Shanghai Normal University. 1994 10, merged with Shanghai Polytechnic Normal University to form a new Shanghai Normal University. 1From September, 1997 to August, 2003, Shanghai Normal University, Huangling Health Care Normal Department of Lin Nan Normal University, Shanghai Xingzhi Art Normal School, Shanghai Teacher Training Center and Shanghai Tourism College were merged or placed under school management. According to the comprehensive ranking of ESI China University from 2065438 to May 2006, the university ranked 85th in China.
