Chongqing technology and business university is an applied research university of finance and economics sponsored by Chongqing Municipal People's Government and headed by Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. It is a national "Basic Capacity Building Project for Universities in the Midwest" and an international university with humanistic characteristics in Chongqing. The school is located in Chongqing, with Party Secretary Li Zhixiong and President Sun Fangcheng. The school motto is "Morality, Wisdom, Practicality and Innovation".
As of June 29th, 2022, the school has four campuses, namely Nan 'an, Orchid Lake, Jiangbei and Tea Garden (under construction), with 4 national majors, 20 national first-class majors, 29 Chongqing first-class majors, 5 municipal professional groups, 22 municipal majors and 2 municipal first-class disciplines.1.
Chongqing technology and business university was founded in 1952. In 2002, it was formed by the merger of the former Yuzhou University and the former Chongqing Business School. By 2022, chongqing technology and business university will be ranked19 in China University of Finance and Economics in 2022; In 2022, ABC ranked 230th in China's university rankings.
