Introduction of Inner Mongolia Medical University:

Inner Mongolia Medical University was first established in 1956, which is one of the earliest medical colleges established in ethnic areas in New China. At that time, it was under the Ministry of Health and was placed under the management of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from 1958. Formerly known as Inner Mongolia Medical College, it was later renamed Inner Mongolia Medical University. Now, the school has become a university approved by the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the National Health and Family Planning Commission and the Ministry of Education, and has been approved as a doctoral degree awarding unit.

The school has three teaching parks: Jinshan Campus, Xinhua Campus and Xilin Campus, and consists of Basic Medical College, Pharmacy College, College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Mongolian Medicine and Pharmacy College, School of Public Health, School of Stomatology, School of Health Management, School of Foreign Languages, School of Computer Information, School of Nursing (School of Health Technology), School of Marxism, School of Humanities Education, Department of Physical Education, Graduate School and School of International Education (foreign cooperation and exchange).

Inside and outside the region, Inner Mongolia Medical University also has 1 14 practice teaching bases. Among them, there are 76 practice teaching bases for medical majors and 38 for non-medical majors.
