The College of Nanoscience and Technology of the Chinese University of Science and Technology was established on February 20 10. In order to better become a training base for high-level and compound nanotechnology talents and a gathering place for high-level R&D and scientific and technological achievements transformation, University of Science and Technology China cooperated with the University of California, Berkeley, and officially renamed the Institute of Nanotechnology as "University of Science and Technology China-School of Chemistry, University of California, Berkeley". The University of California, Berkeley, is the most prestigious public research university in the United States, and has been standing in the top three academic research in the world together with Harvard University and Stanford University. In addition, graduate education in Berkeley has always been regarded as the top level in the United States, especially in the School of Chemistry. The cooperation between the two universities is because the park provides an open stage for international academic cooperation. In the future, a talent training plan will be formulated for the Institute of Nanotechnology of the Chinese University of Science and Technology. Berkeley will send teachers to teach at the Institute of Nanotechnology of the Chinese University of Science and Technology, and Berkeley will provide doctoral study abroad places. Berkeley professors and researchers will establish scientific research bases and platforms in the park to strengthen cooperation, and combine the development status of nano-industry in the park to cultivate a group of outstanding nano-technology talents.
