The basic part of mathematics in the comprehensive ability test of the joint entrance examination of economics mainly examines the basic methods and concepts of common mathematical knowledge in the economic analysis of candidates.

Differential and integral of unary function; First-order partial derivative of multivariate function; Monotonicity and extremum of functions.

Second, logical reasoning.

The writing part of the comprehensive ability test mainly examines the candidates' ability of analysis and demonstration and their ability of writing expression, and tests them by analyzing the validity of demonstration and discussing the text.

The topic of argument validity analysis is a flawed argument, which requires candidates to analyze the defects and loopholes, select some key points, and analyze and comment on the validity of the argument around the defects or loopholes in the argument.
The general points of validity analysis of argumentative writing are: whether the definition and use of concepts, especially core concepts, are accurate and consistent, whether there are obvious logical errors, whether the arguments of argumentative writing support conclusions, whether the conditions for the establishment of arguments are sufficient, and so on.

There are two forms of composition examination: propositional composition and free propositional composition based on written materials. Every exam is one of the forms. Candidates are required to analyze the opinions or propositions given in the topic, show their attitudes and opinions and demonstrate them on the basis of accurately and comprehensively understanding the meaning of the topic.
