There are 17 reading rooms, 1532 reading seats and 430 multimedia microcomputers. Hainan Normal University implements a two-level book collection system, namely, the school library and the department reference room, and the 15 department reference room covers an area of * * * 1 567.53 square meters. From May 65438, 2005 to May 0995, the library of Hainan Normal University used "Library Automation Integrated System (ILAS)" to carry out automation construction, completed the automation and networking construction of the library, and realized the computer integrated management of library business. At present, the library LAN has been upgraded in an all-round way, and a high-speed LAN with gigabit backbone and 100 megabytes to desktop has been built. In 2002, the Desi system of Founder of Peking University was used to digitize Hainan local documents. The opening hours of the library are continuously extended. The maximum weekly opening time of the reading room is 10 1.5 hours, and the network service is uninterrupted for 24 hours.
