1948 was founded in Harbin, formerly known as Northeast Agricultural College, which was the first general agricultural college founded by China * * * Production Party in the liberated areas. Liu Da, a famous educator and the first mayor of Harbin, was the first dean of the school. Since its establishment, it has been subordinate to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the Northeast Administrative Committee, the Ministry of National Higher Education, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Agricultural Committee of Heilongjiang Province, and the Education Department of Heilongjiang Province, and was identified as a provincial key institution in Heilongjiang Province on 198 1.
