Sophia university (Hiragana: じょぅちだぃがく, Greek: σ οι α, English: Sofia) is a Japanese private university, founded in 196544. Headquartered at 7- 1, Chiyoda-CHO, Tokyo. There are 4 campuses in Tokyo and branches in Qinye City, Kanagawa Prefecture and Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture.

Sophia university is a first-class university comparable to Waseda University and Keio University, and it is the "highest wisdom"-this is the origin of the name of sophia university University in Tokyo.
