Tianjin University of Finance and Economics was founded on 1958. It is a key university in Tianjin and an important base for cultivating senior economic management talents in northern China. It was founded on the basis of economics major of Nankai University, and its predecessor was Hebei University of Finance and Economics. Tianjin University of Finance and Economics is also a multidisciplinary university which focuses on economic management, with interdisciplinary and coordinated development of law, literature, science, engineering, teaching and art.

Southwestern University of Finance and Economics is a provincial university, affiliated to People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Education, located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Originated from Guanghua University founded by 1925 in Shanghai, and later renamed many times. 1985 was renamed Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, and officially opened in 2000.

China Renmin University, referred to as the National People's Congress, was founded in August 1937. It is a university directly under the Ministry of Education, which is jointly established by the Ministry of Education and Beijing. Its predecessor was Northern Shaanxi Public School, which was founded in 1937, followed by North China United University, North China University and North China University. The school has 39 colleges (specialties), as well as the sports department and the continuing education department.
