Application conditions for preparatory classes
The conditions for entering the preparatory class are as follows:

1, if you are a high school graduate this year and take the national unified college entrance examination that year. Belonging to ethnic minorities, there are enrollment plans in the local area. Minority candidates whose parents work in units below the township level (i.e. agricultural registered permanent residence) in the region must meet the admission conditions for entering preparatory schools.

2. Candidates must be ethnic minorities. Some provinces and cities, such as Xinjiang, have a two-year preparatory course for Chinese exams, requiring Han people to take exams in minority languages. Preparatory students enrolled in colleges and universities refer to ethnic colleges and universities designated by the state. Candidates who met the specific requirements of the national college entrance examination in that year and whose scores were below a certain level were selected on a voluntary basis.

3. Candidates who have studied in ethnic colleges or ordinary colleges for one year, after passing the examination, will be directly promoted to undergraduate or junior college. Colleges and universities organize their own preparatory graduation exams to assign majors.

The difference between preschool education students and ordinary college students lies in different enrollment objects, different study time, different curriculum and different education modes.

1, enrollment targets are different: ordinary universities enroll students by passing the college entrance examination and then enrolling students in the university plan. However, the enrollment targets of college preparatory classes are generally poor candidates from ethnic minorities or remote areas.

2. Different study time: The study time in an ordinary university is four years, but it takes five years for students in the preparatory class to finish college, because they have to study for one year before they can formally transfer to university. Therefore, there are some differences in time between preparatory classes and ordinary universities.

3. Different curriculum: The curriculum of preparatory classes and ordinary universities is also different. Preparatory classes mainly emphasize learning beyond the number of languages, but the learning content is also related to the learning content of universities, such as some professional basic courses, which lay the foundation for future learning.

4. Different educational models: preparatory classes belong to pre-university education. Generally, senior three graduates study for about one year in order to adapt to the learning style of universities. However, most of the preparatory courses in domestic universities are studied in designated colleges. After completing the one-year preparatory course, ordinary students will study in the undergraduate stage of the selected institution according to their grades.
