2. Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University Joint International College (UIC) was founded by Beijing Normal University and Hong Kong Baptist University in Zhuhai, Guangdong. It is the first university jointly established by the mainland of China and the higher education sector in Hongkong, and is specially approved by the Ministry of Education.
Since its establishment in 2005, UIC has developed into an international university with a unique educational concept. The college consists of four departments, namely, the Department of Business Administration, the Department of Cultural Creativity, the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Department of Science and Technology, with 23 professional directions. UIC has an excellent team of teachers from more than 30 countries and regions, and implements all-English teaching. After graduation, undergraduate graduates obtained UIC diplomas and bachelor's degrees from Hong Kong Baptist University, which were recognized at home, Hong Kong and internationally.
